Bill White is a member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and the National Association of Photoshop Professionals. He is a PPA Certified Professional Photographer and is the owner and chief photographer of Arbor Photography, LLC, which is located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Arbor Photography specializes in family photography, portraits, and glamor photography. It also covers events such as concerts and sports as well as photograph a variety of artistic subjects found in nature such as landscapes, seascapes, and gardens and insects, often employing macro techniques for the latter. One of these macro photos, in fact, is published in the August 2009 edition of the Photo District News magazine. He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California. After his undergraduate work in Austin, he served as an officer in the U.S. Army for seven years and then worked as an applied mathematician for more than two decades before taking up photography professionally.
