I was born & raised in San Diego, California. Growing up in the 60s & 70s in a region very much influenced by art and creativity as much as the beach and the surfer culture, I was exposed and trained in figure drawing & painting as well as portraiture at a young age.

By age 14 I was airbrushing, screenprinting & sign painting professionally. I moved to North Carolina at age 16, won a scholarship for fine art to UNC Greensboro and simultaneously began working in the music field.

Moving on at age 19 to Myrtle Beach, I toured the Southern Resorts working for Sun Tan product companies, in the radio and print media fields as a designer and retouch artist/Illustrator, and as a Tshirt artist.

I chased a girl and found my way to Philadelphia in 1983, decided to stay and within a year was working again with the music & entertainment industry.

Together with co-founder Ron DeMarco, we opened AIRWORX Unlimited and began to leverage skills in the niteclub & live art niche doing body art & face painting.

Since then I have worked in the architectural Sign & Display industry, began teaching airbrush application as a MUA, and pursued Special Visual FX projects for film & video.

33 years after picking up an airbrush for the first time I have delved full on into the MUArtistry, Scenic, Costume Design & Fabrication ends of the Modeling & Photography fields.
