RIP my lovely Katherine - 5/8/72 - 21/11/08. My wife , muse and glorious redhead (changing to blonde occasionally) featured in several images in my port. She wanted the images to remain after her death from ovarian cancer - a terrible disease that has no respect for age , beauty or good deeds! Katherine lived for 23 months with OvCa - the average survival time being 18 months. 70% of women are diagnosed on the operating table , as was Katherine , by which time it is usually too late for any treatment. That is why Ovarian Cancer is known as "The Silent Killer" , because most women do not know they have it until it is too late!

If YOU have persistent lower abdominal pain or bloating , ask your doctor for a CA-125 bloodtest and a trans-vaginal ultrasound. If your doctor is not co-operative...find another doctor!!!!!!!!
