Hello my name is Soffie Hicks & I am a photography student currently studying in Swansea.
I've joined this site mainly to meet model's that don't want the normal portfolio shots but something different that stands out & is slightly on the wacky/eyepoping side.


I have been getting a lot of messages lately asking pretty much the same questions so here are some FAQ's answered for you;

Where are you from/based?
- I am based in Swansea but I am also in Exmouth/Exeter, Devon a lot, I can travel for shoot's but only if i feel it will benifit my portfolio.
For example; A lot of people have asked me would i do SuicideGirls/God's Girls shoot for them, Yes I am willing to do the shoot but the travel expense must be payed for, if it's out of the south wales or south devon area.

I really want something different in my portfolio would you be willing to come up with an idea for a shoot for me?
- Yes, I'm quite creative & i'm constantly thinking up new idea's for shoots. If this is the case then this shoot will be free of charge even if it's a studio shoot, I will supply you with a disc with all of the images edited on & you can choise 3 photo's that will be turned in to A4 prints for you free of charge.

I'm a bodypainter/make-up artist looking to shoot but I don't have a model, would you be willing to shoot for me & find a model?
- Yes, but only on the basis that I have fully copyright of the photo's & can use them in my portfolio/website.

Will a make-up artist/hair stylist be supplyed at the shoot?
-No, You will have to do your make-up/hair yourself, I am a student looking to create images that will benifit my portfolio if I feel I need someone to do hair/make-up at the shoot then I will inform you & supply the person.

Can i bring someone along to the shoot with me?
-Yes by all means you can! The studio i shoot in is a decent size so you are more than welcome to bring someone along to sit in or if you have a child you can bring them along. What I will say is the studio gets very hot quite quickly & it might be cramped if you bring 3 people along so 1 person permodel is fine.

I want a studio shoot but how can i find the studio?
-I shoot from Swansea college's studio at the moment, untill i can get my own studio up & running, I will give you directions, meet you at the entrance & supply you with a car parking permit.
