Makeup Artist Needed for Project and Assist
Looking for Makeup Artist on Sep 17, 2009 and offering TF* I am James Vincent. I am the Director of Artistry for The Powder Group, On Makeup Magazine and The Makeup Show as well as a working makeup artist in New York and LA. I am putting together a team of artists to help me promote and work with me and our artists at The Artist Summit Miami, October 3 - 5th and The Artist Summit Chicago, October 10 - 12th. The Artist Summit is the latest pro-makeup artist event from the producers of The Makeup Show, The American Beauty Tour and On Makeup Magazine. It is an intensely pro, inspirational and impactful three day educational summit for the professional makeup and beauty community. We have dozens of seminars, panel forums and hands-on workshops from the most inspirational educators in the pro-makeup industry as well the summit shop a unique new pro-retail experience with makeup lines offering pro-discounts and pro previews. I need makeup artists to help me in all areas to get the word out to other artists as well as work with Michael DeVellis and myself at the show to be sure that our celebrity artists have everything they need. Artists presenting at The Artist Summit include Crystal Wright, Eve Pearl, Kevin James Bennett, Eugenia Weston, Matine, Davide, Johnny Lavoy, Sharon Gault, Orlando Santiago, Jon Hennessey and many more. I also have a number of vendors that need makeup artists to work with them throughout the three days of the event. Some positions are paid and others are trade for workshops, networking events and tpg pro memberships. Music photos & crowd scenes (plus stay for the after-party!)
Looking for Photographer on Sep 26, 2009 and offering TF* This is an open call for photographers/videographers interested in expanding their portfolio with stills or video of live music performance, crowd scenes, party scenes etc. Alternative models Machiavelli Id and Matt Animal will be attending the shoot, so you may also have the opportunity to get some solo or couples shots with them. The shoot will be on 26th Sept in Wraysbury (on the Berkshire/Middlesex border). You must be able to get yourself and your equipment to the venue. There will be bands & DJs performing throughout the afternoon & evening, and eventgoers are encouraged to come in fancy dress so there will be some interesting crowd scenes! The venue has an indoor swimming pool as well as a large outdoor area. You will be expected to provide full-resolution copies of your work on CD/DVD within two weeks of the event. You will retain the copyright, but you must be happy to sign a release giving the headlining band (and the alt models, if you work with them) fair usage rights for self-promotional purposes. You are free to watermark your work with your name, logo, URL, etc, and to provide additional web-resolution copies to ensure that your watermark remains visible when your work is used online. Bike Night at the Drink-Need Lingerie/Bikini Models-Shots will be eligible for calendar submission
Looking for Female Models on Sep 22, 2009 and offering TF* Ages 21+ only! Calender will be produced from select shots! Starting Tuesday, Sep 22nd, the bar called The Drink will be featuring a Bike Night, where customers come in with their motorcycles and we'll shoot them with studio lights, balancing against ambient light, with you posing on their bikes. You'll get copies of all pictures featuring you for you to use in your port, drinks from the bar, and tips from the patrons to the models will be encouraged so you can make some money from this short shoot as well. Any height is fine. Tattoos/piercings are fine. You'll be responsible for your own hair and makeup. I'd prefer lingerie, and not all black or all white; a bikini outfit will do as well. Garters and stockings are a great idea, or leather chaps and biker gear. Be fit, be fun, be outgoing, and let's have a relaxed, fun shoot in a bit of a party atmosphere. I am the Director of Artistry for The Powder Group, On Makeup Magazine and The Makeup Show as well as a working makeup artist in New York and LA. I am putting together a team of Midwest based artists to help me promote and work with me and our artists at The Artist Summit Chicago, October 10th thru 12th. The Artist Summit is the latest pro-makeup artist event from the producers of The Makeup Show, The American Beauty Tour and On Makeup Magazine. It is an intensely pro, inspirational and impactful three day educational summit for the professional makeup and beauty community. We have dozens of seminars, panel forums and hands-on workshops from the most inspirational educators in the pro-makeup industry as well the summit shop a unique new pro-retail experience with makeup lines offering pro-discounts and pro previews. I need makeup artists to help me in all areas of the midewest to get the word out to other artists as well as work with Michael DeVellis and myself at the show to be sure that our celebrity artists have everything they need.
